My granddaughter chose the Barley Mow for her birthday dinner. We were seated outside, but the unbrella kept falling on us, so we asked the waitress to move us inside. (there were 8 of us) Aside from the waitress being impatient with us, the food was mediocre at best. My grandson chose wings, and got about 6 of them! I chose the roast beef dip...which was cold and dry. The fries were obviously cooked 12 hours before...cold and over cooked. The girls seemed to like their "wraps", not the fries. I think the waitress assumed that since there were teens, they would not tip well or at all, and she really didn't try to please them. The food took at least half an hour to arrive. I will not return again. The atmosphere was dark, dusty and "old bar flies" ogled all the girls, which was embarrassing. It's the only eating establishment in Barrhaven that appeared to be nonfamily oriented.
